The heater/defogger provides interior cabin heat and windshield defogging for GEM vehicles with doors. The heater/defogger includes two upper dash vents and one lower dash vent. |

The Whelen® public address system is mounted in the dashboard and features a four-tone siren and adjustable volume control. |

Steering Wheel Lock
The steering wheel lock prevents the steering wheel from being turned for added security against theft. |

Fast Charger Receptacle
For the GEM e6 and GEM eL XD only! The fast charger receptacle makes setting up your GEM vehicle for the LSV-100 fast charger or the LSV-2472 convenience charger quick and easy. The fast charger receptacle is installed under the hood of the GEM vehicle and comes with all of the major components necessary to charge from the LSV-100 fast charger or the LSV-2472 convenience charger. The standard GEM onboard charger is also installed to allow you the capability to plug your GEM vehicle into a standard 110-volt outlet for normal charging. |

LSV-100 Fast Charger
The LSV-100 fast charger has a maximum output of 100Amps limited to 10kW total output power. The LSV-100 fast charger will typically charge GEM vehicles with six 12-volt batteries up to 80% of charge within 30 minutes and nine 8-volt batteries up to 80% of charge within 60 minutes. The LSV-100 fast charger will charge both flooded lead-acid and maintenance-free gel batteries and is easy to install and use making it an ideal addition to any GEM vehicle fleet. |

LSV-2472 Convenience Charger
The LSV-2472 convenience charger is an off-board Level II 72VDC charger that provides a maximum output of 24Amps. The LSV-2472 convenience charger will typically charge GEM vehicles with six 12-volt batteries up to 80% state of charge within 2-4 hours, nine 8-volt batteries up to 80% of charge within 4-5 hours and a full charge within 4-8 hours depending on the size of the batteries used. The LSV-2472 convenience charger can be used with both flooded lead-acid and maintenance-free gel batteries. |

Global Care Plus (24-month)
The Global Care Plus 24-month extended service program provides 24-months of additional coverage beyond the 12-month new vehicle protection plan that is included in the purchase price of every new 2007 GEM vehicle. The Global Care Plus 24-month extended service program offers the same benefits as the Global Care extended service program: 24-hour roadside assistance, flat tire assistance, collision assistance and no-charge transfer of warranty. In addition, this extended service program provides pro-rated gel battery replacements at a minimum of 50% replacement cost. Customer will be required to pay a $50 deductible for each repair covered under this extended service program. This extended service program is not available for government or commercial use.
